Honestly, I only posted this so I could show you this photo.  This was Catie’s first haircut.  She didn’t like it, but she did let it happen.

The whole family went for a haircut at the same time.  Gigi was super excited about it and now her hair is cute, curly and manageable.  As a group, we are all about as well-groomed as we’ll ever be.

I’m really having fun turning our home video footage into little mini movies.

I made a short horror film about a small child ascending a forbidden staircase.

Once I extinguished a rather alarming amount of open flame, we all enjoyed eating my birthday cake.  Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes, everybody!

Catie was so tired during our trip to the Science Center that she tried to take a nap in this little porthole window.

Catie is now 100% Christian.  That girl will do anything to splash around in a little water.

Paul and Grandma Penny came out to California for the festivities.  We also made a trip to the aquarium to feed Catie’s water obsession.
