I wrote a book.

Hopeless Virgins in Love - book cover

Actually, I wrote this a while ago, and even directed a movie based on it.  (Yes, I’m still in post-production.)  But I hadn’t really looked into publishing this until recently.  So, good news: you can now buy this book for Amazon.com’s Kindle.  I’m pretty excited about this – somehow it seems like a kind of milestone, even though most of the hard work was done a long time ago.  I am also looking into creating regular, non-digital paper books that don’t require a $400 device to decode them, but for now this is a pretty good option.  Trust me, if you already have a Kindle, you can afford to impulse buy my book.

Also, thank you to JD for letting me use his image on the cover.  (And for acting in a movie that I still haven’t completed.)

Because Amazon doesn’t seem to be showing the description of the book on their site yet, here it is:

This is a love story told by a selfish, horrible person who may just happen to be a very nice guy.  Carl Henderson was angry when he found out that his roommate slept with his girlfriend.  When he saw the opportunity to exact a little revenge, he did a terrible thing.  Then he met the girl of his dreams.  Now Carl’s madly in love and he needs to keep his new girlfriend convinced that he’s as nice as he thinks he is.  If at all possible, he’d like to do this without losing all of his friends.  Hopeless Virgins in Love is a story about love and sex and friendship and betrayal.  It is a violently romantic comedy.

Anyway, if you read it, I hope you like it.

Cate calmly allows us to get some picture-taking in without showing any real enthusiasm for the project.

First Day

Today was our first day over at ABC.com.  This is my roommate Neal before our furniture arrived from Burbank.

And here’s Ricardo, looking busy.

We went to the driving range for lunch today, which was really fun.  I’m not sure why Neal looks so sad about it in this picture.  Nor do I understand why Jeff looks so happy about getting a parking ticket on the way back.

Bye, Bye, Burbank

last day in burbank - 3

This was our last day in the office in Burbank.  Starting tomorrow, we’re with ABC.com over at ABC Prospect Studios.  I’m looking forward to the move, but I will miss my office, and especially the 11th floor view.
