Tummy Time

IMG_2433

I’ll be honest – tummy time isn’t all that great.  Gigi continues to get stronger, but most of the time tummy time starts out fun and ends when she throws up.  She’s usually in a grumpier mood at the end of it.

One thing she does enjoy these days is sitting.  She’s getting better at it, and she gets very excited if you pull her up to a sitting position by her arms (like situps).  Soon we’ll have her enrolled in Stephanie’s Pilates classes.

Pizza

We (Stephanie and I) went out for pizza this week.  Gigi got stuck watching, although she did enjoy being outside.  While she did not have pizza, she did get to wear a bib, as she is drooling and teething quite a bit lately.

One more thing: I never properly linked to Marley’s photos from our trip to Syracuse.  She has some good Easter pics, and even a few inside the church while Gigi was baptised.  (There are also some other super awesome pictures Marley took at the same site.)

Thanks, Cindy Owens!

Mrs. Owens (my friend Andy’s mom) sent Georgia this elephant along with a cute outfit and some kickin’ sunglasses.  The elephant is nice and squishy, just like Gigi.  It also fits into my plan to teach her all about animals that don’t really exist.  Now she has a short, blue giraffe with stubby legs and no neck and a green striped elephant with red feet.  Perfect!

Brrr.

One of the things Gigi learned while in Syracuse is how to blow raspberries (or, if you prefer, motorboating). It’s hard to capture in a photo, so here’s a little video for you.

Snow?

This trip was Georgia’s first look at snow.  We heard a new “cold” noise from her (something like “Bwoooah!”) and she seemed a bit confused by the frosty weather.  I was excited to get some pictures of her in the snow, but except for some falling snowflakes, we didn’t make her touch it.  (In other words, there was no tummy time nor snow angels on this outing.)
