Adam skips lunch to watch the fire.

There was a fire in Burbank today.  It was close to the office in Burbank and right above the Oakwood Apartments, where I lived when I was at Ithaca College’s L.A. program.  Adam and I had a good view from the top of Disney Channel’s parking structure.  It was so good that Adam skipped lunch so he could stay and watch it.  It was tough leaving him behind as the flames got closer, but I have a family to worry about so I had to keep moving.

Everyone is fine, although we were forced to leave work early due to all the smoke.

We like this outfit!   Stephanie’s friend / client gave us this cute kitty kimono and we had a lot of fun dressing her up in it.

It still fits.

Heather gave Gigi this cute outfit, and I was happy to discover that it still fits. It’s marked as 0 – 6 months and she’s only 12 weeks old, but she’s really moving into the 6 – 9 month old clothes now. (She likes to eat. And she’s tall.) She still looks good in this outfit, though. (Here’s a picture of her wearing it in January.)

Baby bald spot

Two cutie pies.

Baby bald spot

Lots of curiousity and some good old-fashioned neck strength have caused a bald spot to appear on the back of Gigi’s head.  She’s worn the hair off like it was a cheap carpet.  We’re hoping it grows back when she learns to sit up.  Also, Stephanie and Robin have officially declared her a redhead.  If she manages to keep that hair, it’s very possible.

Grandpa Bob

Gigi and Grandpa Bob

Grandpa Bob is here to visit Gigi.  It’s a good time to visit because she’s pretty plump right now so she’s nice and squishy.
