Our stuffed animal is now safely protected.

We got the car seat yesterday and I think I now understand how to work it. We practiced on Jelly Cat, and I actually sat down and read most of the instructions. The seat fits into a stroller also, so we’re getting pretty close to ready for our new baby girl. I haven’t put the base into the car yet, because Tim tells me that once the car seat is in the car, Stephanie will go into labor. If figure I’ll probably wait for the weekend, just in case.

Bigger!

We’re as surprised as you are. Stephanie’s belly just keeps on getting bigger. Mine is too, but we’re not taking as many photos about it. Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving and don’t think too much about your waistlines. With any luck, we’ll have three people here to wish you “Merry Christmas”.

We went to a film screening.

Lori got us tickets to a KCET screening of student films from their Fine Cut series. It was held at the Vista, with an after party at KCET studios. We also got to see Carl and eat a lot of delicious desserts, including chocolate sushi (which contained dark chocolate and coconut, but no fish).

If you have the Real Player, you can watch the films on KCET’s website.

Spooky.

This Halloween, Lori had us over for dinner and we took a walk through Silverlake to see kids out trick-or-treating. It was really fun to see an entire neighborhood decked out and distributing candy to little people. I put some pictures up here if you want to see them.
