Happy Christmas!
Following an invigorating hike in Griffith Park, we sated our gustatory appetites at the First Annual Al Fresco Christmas Bruncheon. Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced boo-kay) would be proud. Happy holidays from warm and sunny Los Angeles!

Merry Christmas, people!
My grandma made this nativity set in 1979. (I know this because it is written on the back of the angel.) Now ceramic baby Jesus and the wise men and the nice, big camels are sitting on my mantle where the ceramic angel and Stephanie and I can look over them. We didn’t get around to sending Christmas cards this year, so please think of this photo as our Christmas greeting to you. We still love you, we haven’t dropped you from our list, and we wish you a happy holiday season. Ceramic baby Jesus does, too.

The four wise men.
The really smart guy brought the sheep.

One week ’til Christmas!
It’s time for this gingerbread lady to find her Christmas clothes.
(Thanks, Candi, for the anatomically correct gingerbread person.)

People with style.
This is Fritz and Kerri and Michael and (once again) Stephanie’s hat.
One more thing. This is the best article I’ve read about holiday shopping this year. There’s a very good chance it could help you, too.
