The Lakers are returning to Staples Center.

Sadly, we are not. We’ve had our fun with the Lakers for this year, and will have to watch the rest of the playoffs at home. The good news is we have ice cream at my house. Go Lakers!

I love the playoffs.

Here’s hoping the Lakers go up 3-0 tonight. This is a picture from Monday’s game, which Stephanie and I enjoyed from some pretty good seats over at Staples Center. I will be spending a lot of my time this weekend watching basketball games from my couch, which is more comfortable but less exciting. I will say that I watched the end of last night’s Spurs game from an elliptical running machine at Equinox after Stephanie gave me my second private Pilates lesson, so my life is not all potato chips and leisure. The six pack abs are coming!!!

I was given a vigorous workout on the Pilates apparatus (I think it was the Cadillac) and am now well on my way to having rock-hard six pack abs. Go Lakers!

Stephanie and I went to the Lakers/ Rockets game last night and it was awesome! We saw Shaq vs. Yao, Kobe make some amazing shots, Luke Walton make a great 3 pointer, and a whole building full of people just amped to watch the NBA playoffs. The Lakers looked great last night. Hopefully they can maintain their intensity. Focus, Lakers, focus!

Happy (late) Easter, people!

I know Easter was two days ago, but I just got around to putting this photo into my computer. To compensate, here’s a link to some peep-related games. Now you can re-live the Peep Wars in the comfort of your own home. (Thanks, Tim.)
