Happy New Year, everybody!
Dad is back in Virginia and Stephanie is heading back to Los Angeles as I type this. My new year’s resolution is to put up a bunch of photos, because I’ve got Christmas, San Diego, Carlsbad, Long Beach, and all kinds of family to show you. Maybe even New Year’s, but possibly not, as my plan is to sit on the couch and watch TV, which I may not bother to take pictures of.

Stephanie went to a Cuban-themed Christmas party and got to dress up all fancy. It was at her friend Candi Cane’s house. And now she’s even opened up most of her Christmas presents like some sort of godless communist. Fidel Navidad, everyone!
Penguins are so sensitive to my needs.
It’s December, people. And you know what December means. That’s right. Penguins. These are penguins from Sea World, so don’t go thinking that I travelled to Antarctica or anything. I did make it to Chicago, but I barely saw snow there, so I won’t make any comments about it being much colder than Los Angeles. I will make a comment about Moo, since she is lying here in the living room with me.

Kerri lives on the beach.
We visited Kerri in San Diego for Thanksgiving. She lives right on the freaking ocean. I am jealous. In addition, it looks like she has some sort of red rocket jetpack that allows her to fly around San Diego at will. She didn’t even let me touch the jetpack. While Stephanie and I were there, we ate alcoholic cranberry jello, visited Shamu, and watched a lot of movies. Then we ate some alcoholic blue razzberry jello. Also, we saw Fritz. There was much to be thankful for. Including the jello.
