You know, for kids!

Stephanie loves to wait in line.
Here’s another photo of our trip to see Shag at Disneyland. Did I mention how long the line was? Yes. Yes, I did.

Behold: Josh Agle
This is Josh Agle, aka Shag, the man who designed Stephanie’s Tiki Room purse. Imagine the sense of accomplishment when you’ve spent six hours in line to buy a purse and you get to meet the designer in person. No, I did not punch him. That’s how nice that purse is.

It took six hours to get this purse.
This weekend, Stephanie and I went to Disneyland to buy exclusive merchandise that had been designed by one of our favorite artists, Shag. He was commissioned to do some work for the 40th anniversary of the Tiki Room. We waited in line from 8:45am until about 3 in the afternoon. Stephanie made me a paper hat to keep my head from burning. Luckily, one of Stephanie’s friends was in line ahead of us and picked up this purse for her while we were still standing in line. The purses sold out before we got into the store. Still, we bought a lithograph, a Tiki Room-themed shirt, and whatever else we needed to buy to justify standing in line for six hours. Then we had Shag sign our prints so we can put them in the pile of things we’ve been meaning to get framed. Overall, I have to say it was strangely more fun than it should have been. Plus, look at that purse.

Klinger eats like a pig.
One thing you may not know about Klinger: after he kills his victims, he prefers to eat them with his bare hands.
