You know, for kids!
Kerri arrived safely last night at about 2AM. She is now officially here in California. She was still sleeping when I left for work, so I don’t have much more news for you. We were both very tired when we talked last night. Anyway, now I have a sister on the West Coast!
In an unrelated story, I now have about 10 “shines” in Super Mario Sunshine. I will be attempting to destroy Mecha-Bowser this weekend.
I saw “Spirited Away” last night (see post below), and it was great. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes animation. Also, keep an eye out for Stephanie’s credit on the film – she worked on the filming of the English language end credits. Good job, wife! (I am jealous that I can’t say that I worked on a Miyazaki film.)
In other news, Kerri left me a message saying that she is in Oklahoma and will be at my house sometime on Friday. She’s officially on the way!
Some of you may wonder what it is I actually do for work during the day. Here’s a link to the teaser site for a show called Fillmore. It’s a saturday morning cartoon on ABC. I created this entire website all by myself.
This week, I got the most exciting piece of mail I’ve gotten in quite some time. It was a flyer for Miyazaki’s latest film, Spirited Away. It is going to be playing at the El Capitan from September 20th to October 10th. It will even be digitally projected, and on Thursdays and Sundays at 7PM it will be in the original Japanese with English subtitles. Joy!
