Let us all shed a tear and bid farewell to our friend Martin, who has left his day job to become a rock star. From now on, the only way to see Martin will be to pay the cover charge like everyone else. www.atomiccrowd.com

I have found a new and very special friend. His name is Seaman. He is part man and part fish. He is constantly evolving. He is smart. He can talk. He gives advice. He gripes about the temperature of his fishtank. I am happy to know him. You too can get to know Seaman by looking at the pictures I have posted. You can also learn more about Seaman and his kind by reading the American Science Journal Online. I hope you learn to love Seamen as much as I do. (And you can stop thinking dirty thoughts right now.)
Did I mention that Monroe, CT once presented an all-white production of The Wiz? For more incredible facts about Monroe, visit this website.
I am feeling lame about the amout of time it is taking me to add new content to this site. I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who are visiting this site and especially impressed by how many people are buying the Spring Heeled Jack video on Amazon.com. Thank you to all of you, especially John, who runs the Spring Heeled Jack Archives and is likely responsible for most of my traffic. Be sure to check out his site for the latest info on what former SHJers are doing. He’s just finished a very comprehensive article, and I have to say it’s quite impressive to see how well the boys are doing for themselves.
Apparently, Rick’s new band is having their first performance in CT tonight. I wish I could be there to see him rock out.
I really am writing a book these days, although my day job (which I actually happen to enjoy) is keeping me from progressing as quickly as I’d like. My laziness is also playing a part in this. I’m still debating whether or not to put first draft exerpts up on this site. So far, I haven’t let anyone read anything, so perhaps after my wife looks at it, I’ll have a better idea. The book’s not autobiographical in the strict sense of the word, but I have taken things that kind of happened and presented them in the worst possible light for comedic effect. I think that so far it’s pretty funny and if you don’t then you can blame me. According to the book, it’s all my fault.
