DSL hell! I’m still waiting for my DSL connection. GRRR! I’ve been waiting since at least early September. Supposedly they will come and make it work sometime next week. I’m tired of complaining about this. With a dial up connection, you have to wait for things to download. With DSL, you have to wait for months in advance, and then your downloads go quickly. Either way, this sucks.

Exciting news: I now have double the amount of eyebrows I used to have. Thanks to my loving wife Stephanie, the number has increased from one to two. She used a magical substance called Nads, spread it out on my forehead, smooshed a piece of cloth onto it and RRRIP!, no more unsightly eyebrow hair above my nose. If anyone else had tried to rub their nads in my face, I’d have been pretty unhappy about it. Thankfully, everything turned out well. Feel free to gawk at the hairless piece of skin between my two eyebrows the next time you see me.

I wonder what Stephen Miller is doing right now. If I was smarter, I would put a little clock on this website that counts out how long it’s been since I’ve heard from Steve.
Welcome to the new (and actually working) Rambling Man! This page used to be just a useless waste of space where I pretended that I was just on the verge of posting something really great. Well, now I’m using Blogger.com and I can update this puppy from anywhere in the world! (Mostly, I’m guessing, from work.) I’m going to make some kind of effort to actually write random thoughts and project updates here. Hopefully, this will become the most up-to-date page on this site.
Right now, the big new thing is in the Animatorium, where I’ve posted a quick scene from my upcoming cartoon, Handlebar Slim. It’s a wild west short I’ve been working on for a long time, on and off, and now that I’ve finished Mass Appeal Madness, I’m going to try to finish it. The short takes a hair-centric approach to the historical time in American history when people ran around drinking beer and they had trains and sheriffs and stuff. The preview is in black and white and Quicktime, but everything will be high resolution digital video and very colorful and with more better sound when I finally finish it. Go on over and check it out, pardner.
