Vegas. Babies.

Vegas. Babies. - 02

In February, we all went to Vegas.  While Steph was at a Pilates conference, I took the girls on a little weekend Vegas adventure.  First, we trashed the hotel room.

Here we are eating ice cream for lunch.  We won these stuffed animals, too.

We were very excited to see the lions at MGM.

By mid afternoon, the girls were pretty worn out.  Here, Gigi sleeps in the car while I eat an In-N-Out burger.

We saw pirate ships at Treasure Island.  (We did not see the sexy lady show that apparently happens in the evening.)

This is the Year of the Rabbit display at the Bellagio.

This is an awesome sparkly horse.

We caught parts of the fountain show at the Bellagio, and found our own fun running around this smaller fountain.

I’m not sure exactly where we are here, but I do know that sleeping on the floor is not encouraged.

Here There Be Dragons

Denver - 23

The Magyars made this fantastic, life-sized, smoke-breathing dragon for Emmett’s 5th birthday party.  It was worth flying to Denver just to see it.

Heather made this crazy awesome dragon birthday cake while I helped a bit and took some pictures.  Gigi and Emmett decorated the cupcakes to look like fireballs using red and yellow sugar.

Then, at the party, we all jumped on the big dragon and ate the cake.  Yum.

Hermit Crab Interlude

Denver - 15

One of the amazing things we saw while vacationing in Denver was this hermit crab climbing into a miniature pirate ship and claiming dominion over all other hermit crabs.  It was pretty spectacular.

If you would like to purchase this hermit crab, he is available at the mall near Heather’s house.

Blue Popsicles

Denver - 19

Did you know that if you eat a blue popsicle, sometimes it will turn your tongue blue, as well?
